As we try to encourage parents to use their cars less and children to get more exercise, one eco-friendly innovation that is taking off across the country is the Walking Bus Scheme.

A Walking Bus is a group of children who make their way to and from school on foot, supervised by participating adults. It may remind you of the old ‘crocodile’ of school children on an outing as they march down the street!

Child safety is an important element of the scheme, and so Bartletts Solicitors have been delighted to support the Upton Heath walking bus through the purchase of some bright orange safety jackets.
